Folk Songs, and the Ninety-Five Moons of Jupiter

In March of 2024, two long-time musical collaborators entered the studio with the intent to record an album that bridged the gaps in their wide-ranging repertoire of musical languages.

Fusing together folk tunes from Celtic and Bluegrass traditions along with original compositions, free improvisation, and electronic ambience, Erik Johnson-Scherger and Kyle Jordan arrived at an iconoclastic musical thesis - strongly informed by tradition, yet defiantly reaching to the future.
